The struggles between Palestinians and Jews in the Palestinian territories began towards the end of the 19th century and continue until today. The founding process of Israel, which has turned Palestine into a bloodbath today, is also full of massacres. Many terrorist organizations took part in this process.
The Zionist movement was organized with the ideal of having an independent Jewish state and established the armed terrorist organizations Hagana and Irgun. These organizations started intense terrorist activities from the moment they were established and created an atmosphere of fear that threatened social security in the Palestinian territories. This situation caused the death and exile of many Palestinians, and Jews settled in the vacated areas.
During the British mandate in Palestine, which started with the end of the First World War, there was intense Jewish immigration to Palestine. At the same time, there has been an increase in the number of Jewish settlements in Palestine due to the passage of laws allowing Jews to buy land in Palestine and companies affiliated with the Zionist movement to operate in Palestine. The protection of these settlements was left to the British soldiers and the guards union (Haşomer), which was established by the British and consisted of Jews. When the Palestinians realized the British Government’s plan in Palestine, they launched small-scale attacks against these foreign entities. Over time, the idea of establishing terrorist organizations to destroy Muslims and accelerate Jewish settlement was rapidly implemented.
Hagana Terrorist Organization
Founded on June 15, 1921, the organization is the largest among the Zionist terrorist organizations. Hagana, which received great support from the British, later formed the Israeli army. For this reason, the Hagana was the most effective terrorist organization in the establishment of the State of Israel.
The main financial source of the Hagana terrorist organization was the left-wing Jewish parties, the Jewish labor union and the British.
Their first illegal activity was to bring Jewish immigrants from European and Arab countries to Palestine. Zionists argued that Jews scattered around the world should return to Palestine in order to establish a Jewish state in the promised land. For this reason, Jewish immigration to Palestinian lands began in the 1880s. Between 1882 and 1903, 35,000 Jewish immigrants entered Palestine. 40,000 immigrants entered Palestine between 1904-1914, 37,000 immigrants between 1919-1923, and 48,000 immigrants between 1924-1929. Between 1929-1939, the Jewish population increased from 175,000 to 475,000. Between 1939 and 1948, 153,000 Jews entered Palestine.
The terrorist organization was attacking cities where Palestinians and Jews lived, killing Palestinians there and forcing them out of their homes, destroying nearby Palestinian communities and villages and ending the existence of Palestinians, committing massive massacres and causing people there to leave their homes and flee. After the State of Israel was declared on May 14, 1948, the Hagana terrorist organization changed its name to the Israel Defense Army on May 26, 1948.
Irgun Terrorist Organization
This terrorist organization is the bloodiest organization among the Zionist terrorist organizations. It carried out very bloody and brutal terrorist acts against both the Palestinians and its ally, the British, and sometimes the actions of this terrorist organization even extended to the Jews.
The Irgun Terrorist Organization was a far-right organization. We can summarize the Irgun’s ideology in five points: 1. The Jewish state can only be established by force of arms. 2. All Jews have rights in Palestine. 3. The Jewish State should be established to include Palestine and Jordan. 4. Acts of revenge should be carried out to deter the Palestinians. 5. Jews who accept armed struggle are considered Irgun supporters.
The financial resources of the organization are quite diverse. The biggest contribution comes from right-wing parties that support the organization. Apart from this, the donations of Jews in Palestine and abroad, the money extorted by countries such as Poland and France that support the organization from Jewish businessmen, the ransoms obtained as a result of the kidnapping of businessmen, and especially the money obtained from bank robberies constitute the financing of the organization.
Between 1947 and 1948, a total of 531 Palestinian villages were destroyed by the Hagana and Irgun Terrorist Organizations, and most of the people in the villages died. Some of the villagers fled, some were forcibly removed from their villages. During the same period, 34 major massacres were committed against Palestinians. The usurped lands reached seventy-six percent of Palestine’s surface area.
When Israel declared its establishment on May 14, 1948, this terrorist organization joined the Israeli army.
It is an indisputable fact that terrorism cannot continue its existence without external support. Hagana and Irgun terrorist organizations received support from many countries, especially the UK, USA and France.
Western-backed terrorist organizations ensured the establishment of the State of Israel. These organizations formed the Israeli army after its establishment. All these events greatly strengthen the claim that Israel is a terrorist state.
