VICTORY DAY OF AZERBAIJAN

Azerbaycan-Türkiye

By ending Armenia’s occupation of Karabakh, which lasted for nearly 30 years, in a short period of 44 days, Azerbaijan liberated its captive lands. Armenia accepted defeat after Azerbaijan took the strategically important Shusha. The victory day, which was first announced as November 10, was changed to November 8 because it coincided with the death anniversary of the Great Leader Atatürk.
On September 27, 2020, 5 people, including 1 child, were killed in the attack by the Armenian army in the city center of Barda, Azerbaijan, with cluster bombs. The Armenian attacks, which continued the next day, caused the death of 21 more of our civilian brothers.
Brother Azerbaijan immediately took action and gave Armenia the answer it deserved, and when the dates showed 8 November, Shusha, the symbolic city of Karabakh and the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, was liberated from occupation. The entry of the Azerbaijani army into Shusha caused the disintegration of the Armenian army.
On November 10, 2020, a tripartite declaration was signed between Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia, and the war ended when Armenia, which accepted the defeat, promised to return the provinces of Aghdam, Kelbajar and Lachin to Azerbaijan. On November 20, the Azerbaijani army entered Aghdam, which has been under occupation for 27 years. On November 25, Kelbajar was extradited to Azerbaijan. On November 30, Armenian forces had to leave Laçin, which they occupied 28 years ago. The Azerbaijani army liberated 5 cities, 4 towns and 286 villages from occupation in 44 days.
In the 2nd Karabakh War, the Azerbaijani army lost 2 thousand 908 martyrs. During the war, our 94 civilian Azerbaijani Turk brothers lost their lives as a result of the Armenian attack.
Azerbaijan used armed unmanned aerial vehicles (SİHA) extensively in the 2nd Karabakh war. The fact that Armenian soldiers formed positions at high points in the occupied lands, and that the region was generally mountainous, enabled SİHAs to produce more beneficial results for Azerbaijan. The 44-day war in which Azerbaijan liberated its occupied lands with technological weapons, especially SİHAs, is described as an example of modern warfare.
In order to understand the meaning of Victory Day in Azerbaijan, it is necessary to know the injustice that Azerbaijan has faced for almost 30 years. With this victory, Azerbaijan not only ensured its territorial integrity, but also gave the necessary answer to the silence and indifference displayed by the international community against injustice and occupation for 30 years, provided justice and proved to the world once again that the Turks will never accept the occupation.
Zangezur Corridor
The 43-kilometer distance between Nakhchivan and Azerbaijan is called the Zangezur corridor. The Zangezur corridor will be one of the most important gates of the Turkish world. It will contribute to the transport of Central Asia’s potential to Turkey and beyond, and to south-north transportation. It is certain that this corridor will also make a great contribution to Armenia. With this corridor, Armenia will have a transit passage with an exit to the seas and transportation routes from different regions.
Thus, the Zangezur corridor will contribute to the development of Armenia itself. Invading Armenia has been deprived of this opportunity for years. Armenia should take advantage of this historical opportunity and should not prevent the opening of the Zangezur corridor. Otherwise, he will suffer the greatest harm. In other words, by normalizing with Turkey and Azerbaijan, Armenia can get rid of isolation and become a more prosperous country.
In order for this situation to be realized, our President made a clear statement and stated that “Armenia must show a sincere will in solving its problems with Azerbaijan” in order for Turkey to normalize with Armenia.
Fuzuli Airport
Fuzuli International Airport, which was opened with the participation of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the past days, is the first air gate of the regions liberated from the occupation. This is also one of the first projects of peace and regional development. The airport will also contribute to the tourism potential of the regions devastated by Armenia and will play an important role in the visit of foreign tourists to Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan.
The Importance of Victory
The cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan in the 2nd Karabakh war is a tremendous event that will go down in history. A strong victory with very important consequences has been won over this brotherhood. With this victory, the persecution in the region ended and peace was established. With this victory, peace and prosperity will come to the region.
Turkish lands, which have been under occupation for nearly 30 years, have been liberated from captivity. A very important step has been taken for the realization of the united Turkish world. Although the world public was tried not to be informed about this victory, the cooperation of these two brothers and the extraordinary success that followed has been a clear message for all power centers trying to be active and effective in the Caucasus, the Mediterranean, the Middle East and the north of Africa.
“There is no possibility of success for any plan or project made on the above-mentioned regions despite Turkey and without taking into account the Turks.”
England Begins Using Armenians Again.
The so-called Armenian genocide bill, brought to the agenda by the British Parliament Member Tim Loughton, was unanimously approved at the session held on November 9 in the House of Commons, the lower house of the British Parliament. In the statement, it was stated that the next vote on this bill will take place on March 18, 2022.
It is a tragicomic event that a country like England, one of the chief culprits of the bloodshed in Anatolia and the Middle East before and after World War I, accuses Turks of genocide lies. The only law that the United Kingdom has to pass on this issue; There should be a law of apologizing to the families of hundreds of thousands of Muslim Turks, whose death he caused, and to the Republic of Turkey. Or, like a cat spilling its milk on the Armenian issue, it should remain silent, as it has done for years.
As an association, we will follow this issue and from today on, we will tell all the members of the UK parliament, especially Tim Loughton, the realities of the Armenian issue and what the UK is doing about it.
In addition, we remind all Armenian individuals and institutions what happened when Britain told Armenians we love and support you very much, and we warn them to be careful about England.
